What happens when...?

Q: You file a complaint to the Labor Board? Is there an investigation of the business? Would you say these are grounds for a complaint? -Told the business takes out an hour for lunch out of each paycheck but you are not allowed to take an hour lunch. -Being docked hours and not explained why. Not willing to show time card. -Having money taken out of your check for the drug screening, even though the business has already paid for it. (did not sign a release form). -On day off, told you are on-call and not allowed to leave your house.

A: The things you mention are illegal for the company to do. If you file a complaint with the Labor Board, they'll investigate.
